They need to eliminate the whole exporting/importing hassle. Let me show/hide categories regardless of which library they're in. I spent some time reorganizing the library, merging old brushes with new. Yes, they were still there but in older libraries.
I was really bothered the last time when they combined brush categories and omitted others all together. But I'm concerned that they will remove features to make it seem less intimidating. I would love a more streamlined, intuitive and customizable interface. I'm concerned they're going to continue "dumbing it down" to make it more user friendly for new users.ĭon't get me wrong. It's been broken so long that people think that's how it's supposed to work. It's broken now, it was broken in 2015, in X3. Which might be true if you compare one buggy version to previous buggy versions. And I've had support people try to tell me that a feature wasn't broken, that it behaves like it always has behaved. Other reports were either ignored or downplayed as a feature. Some were the same bugs that I reported for 2015. With 2016, I reported bugs as soon as I found them. A new version should never be released without addressing old bugs. I can no longer tolerate software bugs that are several versions old. There was a time that I considered Painter advanced but no longer. Be also sure that the Export Range on the bottom left, is set to All before you press save.Unless there's major enhancements to the UI, fixes for existing bugs or other significant features like real vector tools then I'm not interested.
